Cave Walk
Located in Everett Park Scenic Reserve in the Taranaki region

Introduction
Walk through lowland bush to the edge of the Manganui River and a large, shallow cave overhang.600 m return via same track
Dog access
This walk crosses several small bridged streams, through bush filled with supplejack and parataniwha. Just before the river, the track splits into two. Head left to visit the cave and for views down the river, or right to a sandy riverbank.
This track is 10 minutes drive from Inglewood.
- From Inglewood, head east along Tarata Road
- Turn left onto Bristol Road and then left onto Everett Road.
- The Cave Track entrance is located 3 km down Everett Road on the right. This is just past the Everett Park northern entrance.
There is limited off-road parking next to the track entrance.
The nearest toilets are at the Everett Park southern amenity area. This is 3 minutes south down Everett Road.
