Volunteer in the Tauranga area

Description

Rangers from Tauranga encourage you to be involved in volunteering for conservation. Check out one of our many conservation groups that may need your support. The activities and the location will vary. 

Bay of Plenty conservation groups

As well as helping out DOC rangers and community groups, you'll also get to learn about the history of the project area, go on a walk or catch a glimpse of some of the amazing wildlife.

Our current volunteer program includes:

• seal volunteers – responding to seal call outs to mitigate public and seal safety.
