Introduction

Have your say on a proposal to dispose of conservation land, part of the Ophir Conservation Area. Submissions closed 28 February 2021.

The Department of Conservation gives notice of its intention to dispose of an area of approximately 0.5073 hectares of conservation land being part of the Ophir Conservation Area, described as Part Section 63 Block II Tiger Hills SD and Part Section 99 Block II Tiger Hills SD.

The land is located in Macdonald Street, Ophir. The area of land concerned has no conservation values.

If after consideration of any objections or submissions it is decided that the area is no longer required for conservation purposes, it is the intention of the Department to dispose of the land.

How to submit

Any person or organisation wishing to make a submission or objection to the proposal may do so in writing to the address below no later than 4.00 pm on 28 February 2021.
