Summary of proposal: 

Fiordland Outdoors Limited have an existing concession for sole occupancy of a boatshed and associated slipway in Fiordland National Park, on the shore of Lake Hankinson. Their concession is nearing its expiry date and this application is to get a new concession for the activity.

The boatshed is accessed by walking from the head of the middle arm of Lake Te Anau on the George Sound Route. The boatshed provides shelter for their vessel, Hankinson Water Taxi, used to provide affordable water taxi transport for those hiking the George Sound Route.

Lake Hankinson is otherwise accessible by foot for access to Hankinson Hut and onto George Sound Route.
