The ODG Report: A useful document to explore opportunity in conservation
3 May 2022: The NZCA is pleased to formally receive the Options Development Group (ODG) report, which had been commissioned in light of the matters highlighted in the 2018 Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki Supreme Court decision.

6 August 2019: Conservation Minister Eugenie Sage and the NZ Conservation Authority have directed DOC to undertake partial reviews of the Conservation General Policy and the General Policy for National Parks, to give better effect to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
