Review the Statement of Intent 2003 - 2006 that sets out the longer term directions for the Department, as well as the management actions to be undertaken in 2003.

Legislation and key goals provide the Department of Conservation with its vision, which is New Zealand’s natural and historic heritage is protected; people enjoy it and are involved with the Department in its conservation.
