Introduction
This track is closed to manage the impact of kauri disease.Dog access
The pathogen that causes kauri disease is easily spread by the movement of water. This means the Mokoroa Stream and this particular area of bush is a very high-risk area for significant spread.
Unauthorised access to the walkway could result in fines or prosecution.
Alternative walks in the Waitakere Ranges can be found on the Auckland Council website.
