Intention to grant concessions (leases, licences and easements) to Aramoana applicants
Introduction
Have your say on an application by multiple parties for leases and licence easements at Aramoana Conservation Area and Aramoana Ecological Area. Submissions close 29 May 2018.The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant 30 year concessions under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to formalise the existing occupation and access to private accommodation and related facilities (being historic pilot houses/cottages (3) and a dwelling) situated within Aramoana Conservation Area and Aramoana Ecological Area, in accordance with the table below.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including Tuesday, 29 May 2018, and should include reference/s: Aramoana, followed by Site 1, Site 2, Site 3, or Site 4 (in accordance with the table above).
Once submitted, submitters’ information is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and may be released under that Act. If you wish to keep any part of your submission confidential, you need to state this in writing when making your submission.
Hearing
Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.
If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur during the week of 18–22 June 2018.
