Intention to grant concession to Avondale College
Introduction
Have your say on the Minister's intention to grant a concession to Avondale College in the Tongariro Conservation Area. Submissions close 14 June 2017.The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a fifteen (15) year concession (lease) under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to Avondale College, for a continued lease of part of the Tongariro Conservation Area.
Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal having regard to the matters in Section 17U of the Conservation Act 1987.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including 5:00 pm Wednesday 14 June 2017, and should include the reference 48616-OTH.
Note: Submitter's information could be disclosed under the Official Information Act 1982 and submissions are part of the statutory process and may be commented on by the concession applicant.
Hearing
Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.
If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur during the week 10–14 July 2017.
