The DOC Campsite Pass can be used at this campsite.
Bookings
Bookings are open for stays up to 30 June 2026.
If there is no availability showing online for your dates, the campsite is fully booked. No sites are held for campers turning up on the day without a booking.
Advance bookings are required throughout the year.
A $10 service fee applies to phone and in-person booking. This is a limited service – book online first. An in-person booking is dependent on there being space available.
Off Queen Charlotte Drive in the Grove Arm of Queen Charlotte Sound, 15 km from Picton. Near Momorangi Bay. Sealed road is narrow and winding.
Access by steep driveway, tight turning for long vehicles. OK for motorhomes up to 7 metres.

Camp rules
- All groups must include a responsible adult that is at least 18 years of age.
- Quiet hours are from 9:30 pm – 6:30 am.
- Generators allowed from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm only
- Music players must be used with headphones or played at a level not audible to neighbouring campsites.
Vehicle restrictions for Queen Charlotte Drive
Any vehicle with a gross vehicle mass exceeding 3500 kg that is towing over 12.6 meters in length are not permitted, due to major flood damage from storms in August 2022.
