Location of proposed activity: Whakatane Rowing Club – Recreation Reserve – Rowing Club. Approximately the area surrounding NZTM: E1949089 N5791361.
Summary of proposal: Lease/licence of the Whakatane Rowing Club due to the expiry of the current 30-year lease. The lease is for the club building and concrete wash down area with a licence over the remainder of the reserve.
No major changes are requested from the existing lease. The application forms refer to a 50-year lease but this has been reduced to a 30-year lease/licence. The explanation for this is provided in the additional information attachment of the application.
