Introduction

The Twelve Mile block is 13 km from Queenstown on the Glenorchy Road.
Climate
The area can be hot in summer and is a little less wet than the nearby Southern Alps/Kā Tiritiri o te Moana, but the tops are still very exposed and subject to changeable weather.
