4WD vehicle access to Pisa Conservation Area is closed for winter. It will open again on 1 November 2026, conditions permitting.
Public vehicle access is restricted to the drier summer periods between 1 November to 1 April but can be closed anytime within this period to avoid damage to the tracks. This can be due to safety risks, weather conditions, threats to conservation or track damage.
Before you complete the form decide on entry and exit points in the Conservation Area. You must obtain adjoining landowner approval for these by contacting the landowners.

The adjoining stations are: Lowburn, Mt Pisa, Locharburn, Queensberry Ridges, Waiorau (SHPG), Robrosa, Tuohys.
You must also read and agree to the conditions for motorised vehicle access.
Once your application has been processed you will be informed whether access has been approved or declined.
