The discount policy for recreational facilities encourages engagement with nature and heritage, and rewards contributions to recreation and conservation. Published March 2024.

This policy was published in March 2024 and took effect from 1 July 2024.

Summary

This policy provides for discounts at DOC facilities as an incentive for people to engage with nature and heritage, and as a reward for organisations who help DOC with our conservation and recreation work.

The incentives are aimed primarily at:

  • children
  • youth
  • adult Community Services Card holders.

For groups and organisations that help DOC reward discounts can be accessed through an application process.
