New Zealand citizens and those ordinarily resident in New Zealand:
- Adult (18+ years): $25 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $12 per person, per night
International visitors:
- Adult (18+ years): $38 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $19 per person, per night
Proof of eligibility is required for the New Zealand rate.
Outside the Great Walks season (1 May 2024 – 28 October 2024)
For all visitors:
- Adult (18+ years): $10 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $5 per person, per night
The DOC Campsite Pass cannot be used at this campsite.
Bookings
Bookings are required in the Great Walks season.
This campsite is on the Routeburn Track in Fiordland National Park. It is about 4 – 6 hours walk from the Divide, Milford Road (reached from Te Anau).
Tracks to this campsite
The use of hut facilities by campers is not permitted. You must carry your own tent, sleeping bag, cooking gear etc.
A resident DOC ranger is stationed at the nearby hut (during the Great Walks season) and will check your tickets, pass on information about the environment and weather, or help you out should an emergency arise.
