Fees
Payment with a DOC Campsite Pass is preferred. The Iron Ranger is closed so paying with cash at the campsite is not possible. Contact the Visitor Centre (details below) for more information.
- Adult (18+ years): $10 per night
- Child (5–17 years): $5 per night
- Infant (0–4 years): free

The DOC Campsite Pass can be used at this campsite.
Turn off SH2, 15 km north of Masterton onto Kiriwhakapapa Rd, and follow 7 km to road end. 5 km of gravel road.

Walking and tramping
Walk the Kiriwhakapapa Loop Track (1 hour) or climb up to Blue Range Hut (2 hours one way).
