This is a serviced 10-bunk backcountry hut in the Coromandel area. The hut must be booked online in advance.Facilities

Crosbies Hut was built in 2010 and offers panoramic views of the Coromandel Main Range - north towards Maumaupaki and Mercury Bay and from the Firth of Thames in the west to Table Mountain and the Upper Kauaeranga Valley in the east. The lights of Whitianga are visible at night.

Bookings
Bookings are required all year.
A $10 service fee applies to phone and in-person booking. This is a limited service – book online first. An in-person booking is dependent on there being space available.
Crosbies Hut is located on the Memorial Loop Track off the Main Range Track, approximately 12 km north-east of Thames. The hut can be accessed from 7 different tracks.

- A good level of fitness is required.
- Do not leave surplus food in the hut – it attracts vermin.
