Terms and conditions for using our data

The files are provided on an as is basis and should be used in conjunction with your local DOC office staff and a current NZTopo50 map. The files do not replace guidance, bookings nor permits.

Refer to the DOC Open Data Portal for full dataset metadata and descriptions.

All outdoor enthusiasts should be aware of safety in the outdoors and hunters must adhere to hunting and firearms safety.

Do not rely solely on a GPS device for navigation.
