Introduction
Have your say on DOC's intention to dispose of an area of conservation land in the St Bathans Conservation Area. Submissions close 16 April 2018.The Department of Conservation gives notice of its intention to dispose of an area of conservation land being part of the St Bathans Conservation Area described as Section 40 Block I Town of St Bathans comprising 0.0331ha.
The Department has received an approach from an adjoining owner and as a result has reviewed the need for the Crown to retain this land.
The land comprises a small area covered in exotic vegetation and in unkempt condition. In the Departments preliminary consideration the land has no conservation values. If after consideration of any objections or submissions, it is decided that the area is no longer required for conservation purposes, it is the intention of the Department to dispose of the land.
