Introduction

Have your say on an application by North Canterbury Alpine Trust for a lease/licence concession for structures and guided activities on public conservation land. Submissions close 20 June 2018.

The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a 30 year concession (lease/licence) under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to North Canterbury Alpine Trust, for structures (lease/licence) in the vicinity of the Boyle River Outdoor Education Centre and for guided activities (licence) at various locations across the North Canterbury, Buller and Greymouth districts.

Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal or make a written submission on the proposal.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including 5pm on Wednesday 20 June 2018, and should include the reference CA-26544-INS.

Once submitted, submitters' information is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and may be released under that Act. If you wish to keep any part of your submission confidential, you need to state this in writing when making your submission.

Hearing details

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection or submission must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur during the week commencing 9 July 2018.
