The Minister of Conservation gives notice of his intention to grant a 5 year lease concession under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to Te Runanga o Ngati Rehia Trust to continue with the voluntary administration of Rewa's Village, a replica Māori fishing village on the Kerikeri Basin Recreation Reserve.

How to submit

Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including 11 January 2018.

Once submitted, submitters' information is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and may be released under that Act. If you wish to keep any part of your submission confidential, you need to state this in writing when making your submission.

Hearing

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur on the week starting 12 February 2018.
