Introduction

Have your say on the Minister of Conservation's intention to grant a concession to Ross Goldfields Information and Heritage Centre Inc. to lease part of the Ross Goldfields Historic Reserve under a 30-year lease. Submissions close 10 September 2017.

The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a 30 year lease under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 59A of the Reserves Act 1977 to Ross Goldfields Information and Heritage Centre Incorporated to lease part of the Ross Goldfields Historic Reserve on which Grimmond House and associated building are located.

How to submit

Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal or make written submissions on the proposal.

Hearings

Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director General.

If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur the week starting 9 October 2017.
