Intention to grant a concession to Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge Limited, Inflite Ski Planes Limited, and Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Village Limited
Introduction
Have your say on the Minister of Conservation's intention to grant lease concessions to Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge Limited, Inflite Ski Planes Limited, and Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Village Limited. Submissions close 30 October 2017.The Minister of Conservation gives notice of their intention to grant eight (8), 30-year concessions (leases) under section 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987 to:
- Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge Limited ref: 50802-ACC and 54178-ACC
- Inflite Ski Planes Limited ref: 48088-ACC and 48089-ACC
- Aoraki/Mount Cook Alpine Village Limited ref: 50798-ACC, 50799-ACC, 50800-ACC and 50801-ACC.
The applications are to occupy and maintain existing sites and buildings for accommodating staff in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park.
How to submit
Any person or organisation may object in writing to the Director-General against the proposal, or make written submissions on the proposal.

Submissions will be accepted up to and including Monday 30 October. Once submitted, submitters' information is subject to the Official Information Act 1982 and may be released under that Act. If you wish to keep any part of your submission confidential, you need to state this in writing when making your submission.
Hearings
Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection, or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.
If a hearing is required, it is likely to occur on the week commencing 20 November 2017.
