Year 13 geography – tourism: a cultural process

Introduction

Students can study the dynamics of tourism within a national park context. This presentation is designed to directly align with achievement standard 3.2.

In particular, students will gain an understanding of how tourism drives resource use and consumption within the park by studying statistical figures on trends in peak visitor times and types and how this correlates to water usage, transport pressures and demands on accommodation and activities.
