Introduction
DOC and Toyota New Zealand share a vision to see the people and nature of Aotearoa growing as one.
Te Papa Atawhai/ Department of Conservation and Toyota New Zealand entered into partnership in 2015.
Through the Toyota Kiwi Guardians programme, DOC and Toyota connected New Zealand children and their whānau with nature so they feel part of it and want to care for it in the future.
Connecting children with nature leads to a lifelong engagement with the environment and its health/wellbeing benefits.
